These CDs are part of the Azure Miles Records 2000 series, which features music Robinson composed between 1989 and 1994, prior to his use of Indian ragas. Seven of the CDs consist of extended compositions, anticipating the alap form of ragas. Touch A Color presents six of the first compositions Robinson composed for the 3000 series meruvina in 1995, reflecting his early study of Indian classical music.
