A Momentous New Form of Modern Jazz

Lennie Tristano and Lee Konitz

Lennie Tristano and Lee Konitz created a momentous new form of Modern jazz together, one that still stuns, mesmerizes and inspires with boldness, subtlety, brilliance and fantastic substance today.

When Konitz passed away at 92, having lived over 70 years in New York City, the New Yorker magazine and the New York Times main jazz scribe made no mention sadly revealing elementary ignorance and apathy for artistic diversity in jazz.
